Arthur "Ted" Frederick Ward

WARD; Arthur (Ted) Frederick ~ After a life well lived and a battle hard-fought, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, September 13th, 2019, Arthur (Ted) Ward at 82 years of age.  Reunited with his beloved wife Annie Patricia (nee Farrell) who left us on January 31st of this year.  Dear father of Rick (Elizabeth), Kevin (Jerry Taylor) and Kerin Valcourt (Chris); predeceased by infant daughter Elizabeth.  Cherished grandfather of Andrew Ward, Matthew Ward and Gabrielle Marsh. Predeceased by brothers P. David Ward (Valda) and Tom Ward (Anne).  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories brothers Denton (Helen) and Ron (Gloria).  The eldest son born into a farming family, Ted chose to forego the dairy life and pursue his passion - building a successful career and supporting his family as a mechanic, truck driver and ultimately, a millwright.

Service Information

In lieu of flowers or donations, we invite you to honour Ted's lifelong commitment to his family by setting time aside to visit an elderly relative, to enjoy a home-cooked meal with your loved ones, or to simply share family stories with your children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren. As per their wishes, a private family interment for both Ted and Annie will take place at Warkworth Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be received at fallis-shields.com
