MONIZ, Avelino

Passed away on Thursday April 11, 2024 at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Born January 14, 1953 Azores, Portugal to the late Deodato Moniz and Maria Soares. Avelino was the other half to the love of his life, Katherine Moniz. His best accomplishment was the two wonderful men, of who he was the father of, Jean Paul Moniz & his wife Diane, Peter Isaac Moniz & his partner Kristina and father-in-law of the late Kirsten Moniz. Proud grandfather of Isaac Campbell Moniz, Mackenzie DaSilva Moniz, Julia Mae Moniz and Alysha Kay Moniz. He will be watching all through their lives and guiding them with his love, to the moon and back! When you go fishing Poppy will be there with you and when you play with all the imagination of a child, Poppy is playing too. In lieu of flowers or donations it is Ave’s wish that friends and family accept the notion that the true meaning of life is in the love of our family and friends who touch our lives. A life well lived with the love through the joy, heartache and hardships is the only life that matters. Wealth, Power, Physical Beauty are for only some, and fleeting. When gone what do you have, if not True Love, Family and Friends? Make the most of it, this is the chance we are all given. Don’t Mess It Up.
