Barbara Maxwell (nee Nicol) Obituary

Barbara Jane Maxwell (nee Nicol) passed away peacefully on July 1st 2024 in her 88th year at Ed's House in Cobourg Ontario. Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Ernest and leaves behind her two children Becky Groves (Dan), Stephen Maxwell and her cherished grandson Jordan Groves.

Barbara spent many years yachting and camping in the summers and spent the winters in Bradenton Florida. She was an avid curler whom represented Southern Ontario in the Seagrams Mixed. She also loved shuffleboard being the convenor of the shuffleboard club at El Rancoh Village in Bradenton and the indoor shuffleboard club in Brighton, Ontario.

Barbara and Robert (Bob) hosted many Applefest parties in Brighton, as well as convening well over 25 cruises for their many friends from Ontario and Bradenton.

She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
