Obituary
Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Hospice Peterborough on June 28, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Peter & Catherine Dombroskie. Now at rest with her loving spouses Ernest Mantifel and Robert Noble. Loving mother of Eunice Hinze. Grandmother of James “Jim” (Missy) & Debbie. Great grandmother of Alyssa, Sebastian, Sara, Luke (Heather) & Amanda. Dearly missed by Great great grandchildren Banks, Adalyn, Ava, Aria & James. Survived by sisters Theresa, Mary, Clara & Sister-in-Law Coriene. Predeceased by siblings Rita, Patrick, Margaret, Michael & Alban. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a cook at Fair Haven Long Term Care and a devoted member of the Maple Ridge Senior Centre and the Activity Haven Seniors Club. She was an avid card player and loved playing bingo with her friends. She was an amazing cake decorator and her cakes have been enjoyed not only in Canada, but as far as Australia. Barbara was famous for Coconut Cream Pie and handmade crafts such as her knitting, crocheting & quilts.
The family would like to express their thanks to PRHC unit 6B and 2D. A special heartfelt thanks to Hospice Peterborough and especially Doctor Christopher Blake for the outstanding care and compassion they showed in Barbara's final days.
