Versteeg;  Barbara Helen ~ It is with great sadness we announce, after an over 28 year struggle with cancer, the passing of Barb on July 20, 2017 in Peterborough at the age of 56. Beloved wife of Richard and loving mother of Michael Howe and his girlfriend Vicky. Survived by her mother Helen, sister Donna, brothers Ivor (Joanne), Ron, and Al, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her father Ivor Williams Sr. Thank you to PRHC – Oncology, Dr. R. Binette and Dr. J. Beamish for your comfort and care of Barb. Cremation has taken place.

Service Information

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Millbrook Legion, 9 King St. E., Millbrook on Saturday, July 29th from 11 am - 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (Memo Line to read: Breast Cancer Research Fund) would be appreciated by Barb and her family.
