A tremendously strong, immensely beautiful, truly remarkable woman. Tragically lost after a brave battle with COVID-19. Avid nature-lover, sewist, lover of animals and music. Exceptionally loving, devoted mother to Rocky, Drake and Fallon. Beloved sister of Roma, Mike and Stan. Proud aunt of David and Bryan Szmyr, Alessandra and Bryan Cortis, Michael and Jason Gorny, and Stephanie Cortis. Loving sister-in-law to Kaz, Will, Gwen, Mario, Anne and Fiona. The family would like to sincerely thank the dedicated team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre ICU for their tremendous care and support. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada.
