David Gordon Witten

David passed away peacefully at Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Center in Cobourg, Ontario on February 28, 2026, at the age of 78.

David was predeceased by his parents Robert Herold Witten and Madeline Gertrude (Tyrrell), his wife Betty (nee Eichler) and stepdaughter Babbette.

He will be missed by stepdaughter Mandie (Jimmy), stepsons Shane and Bradley and daughter Debbie as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Beloved brother of Larry and Sandy.

David loved the outdoors, nature and photography.  He was a skilled craftsman by hobby (and husbandly duty lol) and always gave work 100% whether it was manual labor or a national sales rep. 

Rest in peace dad.  I'll keep watch for falling golf balls and your brother wouldn't say no to some help with his poker game every now and then.
