Passed away peacefully with her husband and best friend by her side, surrounded by family on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Toronto General Hospital. Donna (née Haun), in her 72^nd year, was the beloved wife of Jim for almost 52 years. Loving mother of Ed (Christine) and Rich. Very proud Grandma of Aidan, Meredith, Brandon, Heather and great-grandma of Max, Chloe, Sebastian and Eloise. Dear sister of Rosemary (George), Madelyn (Rod), Jennifer, the late Doug, the late Jeff, several half brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Donna will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and many friends. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for Donna over the years, especially Dr. Kim of the kidney transplant team and the incredible team of doctors and nurses in the coronary ICU at the Toronto General Hospital.  

Service Information

Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 402, 9 King St. E., Millbrook on Friday, June 22nd from 7 to 9 p.m. with time to share memories at 8 p.m. A casual interment will take place at Centre Cemetery, 8366 County Rd 30 North, Trent River on Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. In Donna's memory, a donation to the Peterborough Humane Society (memo line to read: Capital Campaign) would be appreciated by the family.
