Ernst "Ernie" Oskar Konzelmann

KONZELMANN, ERNST “ERNIE” OSKAR. It is with great sadness that the family of Ernst “Ernie” Konzelmann, born on June 23rd, 1931 in Sonnenstuhl, East Prussia, Germany, announces his passing on September 9th, 2024 at age 93 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Irene Konzelmann (nee Stiebing) and children Monika Sud and Mark Konzelmann (Teresa) and his sister Ingedore Paus (the late Wolfgang). Predeceased by his parents Johannes and Marianne Konzelmann and eight siblings. Proud Opa of Ramesh Sud (Elena), Emmi Sud (Terry), Raman Sud, Hannah McAlees (Jonathan), Benjamin Konzelmann and Adam Konzelmann. Also left to mourn him are extended family and friends in Canada, Germany and France.

The family thanks the physicians, nurses and PSWs in Wing F4 of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their caring attention to Ernie's needs.

In accordance with Ernie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
