HINES, Eugene Ross

Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday, February 9^th, 2022 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Harren). Loving father of Julie Hare (Earl) and Janice Hines (Corey Cooper). Proud grandfather of Emily & Alexa Hare and Tyson & Russell (Tya Mcilmoyle) Gardiner. Sadly missed by his sisters Kaye Casey (the late Norman), Judith Huntley (Averett) and Marcia Patterson (Beverley) and by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Freda (nee Densmore), brother Murray (Sandra) and his sister Carolyn White (the late Dennis). 

Eugene was a dedicated and hard worker with Harnden and King for 39 years as a truck driver.  He was a much-loved Granddad to Tyson, Emily, Russell, and Alexa. He always enjoyed his visits and company with friends, coworkers, and extended family.  We would like to thank the staff from the Emergency Department and Palliative Care Unit. A special thank you to Megan Blair, the GEM nurse and Tracy Bagshaw.   A private family interment followed by a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date.
