Evelyn, known to family and friends as “Gail” passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 4th at Centennial Place, Millbrook in her 88th year.  Beloved and devoted wife of the late Howard Bannister.  Loving mother of Kent Bannister (Michele), Bonnie Burroughs (Scott), Julie Smellie (Marc), and the late Jeffrey Bannister.  Adoring grandmother of Brett, Brelyn, Krista (George), Tanner (Melissa), Adam, Benjamin, and Jenna.  Proud great grandmother of Brooke, and Lennie.  Sister of Geordie Wilcox.

Gail is remembered for her warm smile, great strength and kindness to everyone she met. She dedicated her life to her family, and her children will forever cherish the memories of her constant support, laughter and love.  She had a way that made you feel like you were the most important person in a room.  Gail will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
