It is with heavy hearts that the family of Garry Douglas Lake announce his peaceful passing on May 5, 2026, at the age of 81.
Garry leaves behind his beloved wife, Shirley Lake (nee Fisher). Loving father of Dana Arruda (John), and Joby Lake (Laura). Cherished grandfather of Tyson Sangster (Catie), Hannah Sangster, Evan Sangster, Malcolm Lake, and Carder Lake, and proud great-grandfather of Addison Sangster.
He is also survived by his siblings Dianne Pearce (the late Fred), Tom Lake (Judy), the late Dennis Lake (Robin), as well as the late Terry Lake (Cheryl). Garry was the dear brother-in-law of the late Evelyn Fisher, and the late Gordon Fisher.
Garry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him, especially lifelong friends Warren and Mary Fiegehen and Kathy McKenzie-Hammond.
A Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 1 - 4 pm at the Pie Eyed Monk, 8 Cambridge St. North, Lindsay, ON, 2nd Floor with elevator accessibility.
