RAMSAY, Isabelle Anne (nee Gorrie)

Peacefully at home with her loving family on Friday May 17th 2024 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Peter Ramsay. Loving mother of Cris and Jen (Bryan Haaker). Proud grandmother of Forest and Silas. Survived by her sisters Elizabeth Tinker (Charles) and Jane Roth (Al). Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Isabelle (nee Couper). 

Anne and Peter had been happily married for 62 years. 

Anne's love of colour started with spinning and weaving and moved to quilting. There is always a quilt hanging on the garage door for passersby to see! Anne was a founding member of Millbrook Needlers Quilt Guild, a member of Quilts for Cancer based out of Ida, ON as well as The Barn Quilters in Millbrook.

Both Anne and Peter were avid gardeners and spent many afternoons sitting on the back porch and enjoying the fruits of their labours.

In accordance with Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
