Jacoba "Jackie" de Haan
Peacefully, after a long battle with dementia, Jackie went to be with her Lord on Saturday July 21st, 2018, at the age of 82. Jackie is survived by her only son Richard (Kimberley) and her grandson James, granddaughter Jodi (Jon) and great-granddaughters Rhea, and Rylie (who was born 9 days after her passing.) Special thanks to the staff at Victoria Manor in Lindsay for their exceptional care.
Whenever anyone asked Jackie how she was, no matter how she was feeling, she always replied, "I'm a happy, healthy lady."
Cremation has already taken place and a private family memorial gathering to reminisce and remember her life will be held on September 15th, 2018.
Free I will fly, gliding as a tiny bird
In a grand and magnificent place.
A realm where I was meant to be,
With His abundant grace.
My pain is gone, do not weep for me,
Or my former earthly life.
I am feasting at His table now,
No more sorrow, no more strife.
His glory shines all around
To light my heavenly clime,
Where peace and comfort at last will be,
Throughout the rest of time.
