Brown, James Mannassah (Jim) passed away peacefully at Ed’s House on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, with his family by his side.
Jim was the beloved husband and best friend of Betty Irene Pearl (Clarke) for sixty-eight years. Predeceased by mother, Marjorie Brown (Clark), and Father Frederick (Fred) Brown.
Father of Ken (Marlene), Dan (Karen), Terry (Kelly), Rick (predeceased 2010) (Claudia), and Garth.
Proud “Poppa” to twenty-eight grand children, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren…. soon to be twenty-nine.
Jim was a very hard worker all his life working at Cooper Tool until it’s closing, handyman, hockey and baseball coach.
Jim always enjoyed a good game of cards with his family and friends often teasing and poking fun with them all!
Thank you to Northumberland Hills Hospital and the amazing care and compassion at Ed’s House.
At Jim’s request, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 24th, from 1 - 4 pm at the Port Hope Lions Centre, 29 Thomas Street.
Memorial donations to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in memory of Jim would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared at www.millvalleyfuneral.com.
Life has ended but the memories and love will last forever!
