James Ivan Butland

BUTLAND; James Ivan ~ Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018. Jim was married to his best friend and love of his life, Marina Puffer.  He was the proud and loving father of Kim, Darren (Jenn) and Jennifer (Jon).  Grampa to Matt, Ryan, Grace, Isabella, Alyssa and Joshua.  Great Grampa to Jackson. Brother of Alfretta, Gary, Scott (Wendy) and Elsie (predeceased). Uncle Jim will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews along with many very good friends. After retiring from the City of Oshawa Forestry Division, Jim and Marina built their dream home on Kosh Lake where they entertained with family and friends and made many lasting memories.  Donations in memory of Jim can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation. A "Celebration of Jim's Life" will be held in the Spring.  A notice will be placed in the paper advising the date and location.  Our thanks to Dr. Jonathan Mallory and staff of the Palliative Care Unit for your kindness and caring.
