Born in Toronto and passed away peacefully in Oshawa. Survived by his wife Jacqueline Elliott; his children Kirsten Downes (Paul), Kirk Elliott (Darlene), Kyle Elliott (Jen) and David McCormick; his grandchildren Georgia, Chloe, Charlotte and Megan; his sister Ellen Alston (Les).
