After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Larry passed away peacefully on Friday November 28, 2025, at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice. Larry faced his journey with strength, love and determination. A life well lived right up until the end.

Larry was a proud father to his daughters Kelsey Bandy (Ryan) and Hailey Bandy (Dave).  Grampy to Aiden, Owen, Ava, Evelyn, Cashlyn, and Kane. Son of Heather Bandy and Raymond Beal (Pops). Brother of RB Bandy (Kerry), Kevin Bandy and Marty Bandy (Melissa).

Larry will be dearly missed by his many friends and family.

All that knew Larry know that he believed in celebrating life’s simple joys and never missed a chance to raise a bottle. So, in Larry’s honour—cheers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ed’s House for all of their compassion and support over the last few months of Larry’s life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cobourg Lions Centre, 157 Elgin Street East Cobourg, on Saturday January 17, 2026, from 1- 4 pm.
