WALDINSPERGER (née RENNER); Marie ~ at Centennial Place Long Term Care, Millbrook, on June 25th, 2018, in her 91st year. Marie was the cherished, eldest child of Konrad and Magdalena of Yugoslavia and the beloved wife of the late Nikolaus. Loving mother of Karin (Peter) Szydlowski, Erwin, Peter (Debbie), Michael (Shirley) and Lisa Waldinsperger. Predeceased by daughter Helga Nickerson and son Ralph Waldinsperger. Loving Nanny of Kristina, Kevin, Kimberly, Tracey, Jessica, Brooklynne, Christopher, Kaitlin, Mallory, Shawna and Kayla. Adoring Great Nanny of Jacob, Hailey, Madison, Kyle, Kassandra, Quinton, Nikolaus, Cameron Jaxon, Kurtis, Phoenix, and Daniella. Dear sister of Lisbeth and predeceased by siblings Resi, Reine, and Jakob of Berghausen, Germany. Marie was an intelligent, courageous woman and proud Canadian who worked hard to make a new home for her family in Canada. Her favourite thing was being able to spend time with her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed nature, gardening, hobby farming, bowling, cooking, and baking for her family and friends.
In keeping with Marie's wishes, cremation has taken place and family will attend a celebration of life at Trent Valley Cemetery where she will join her beloved husband. If desired, memorial donations may be made to SickKids Foundation. Thank you to the incredibly loving, caring nursing and support staff of Centennial Place LTC Home. May we remember the quote she left us in her journal: "just to be part of this glorious creation; to have this day, to see the sun; and walk the earth so ripe in beauty; that is joy, and all we really own..." Auf Wiedersehen Mom/Nanny/Marie. www.fallis-shields.com
