Maurice Paul Pursey

Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Pursey and the late Betty Gray. Loving father of Maurice Jr. (Mara). Brother of Carol Hayden (Joe). Brother-in-law of Lorna, Mady (late Barry), late Anna (John), late Dorothy (Paul), Shirley, Audrey (late Earl), late Bill (Rusty). Grandfather of Chase and Ashlynn. Great-grandfather of Jacoby who had a special spot in Mau’s heart. Maurice is survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends. 

He enjoyed his Motorcycle Breakfast Club and loved riding. He was always there to help anyone in need and he always had a smile on his face no matter the situation. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

At Maurice's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice.
