HAMILL, Patricia Ann (nee Watson)

On June 11th in her 86th year, Patricia Ann Hamill passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Hospital. She was born on October 3rd. 1938 in Peterborough to parents Earl Roy and Emma Mabel Watson. She is also predeceased by her sister’s Evelyn and Madeline. Pat lived her entire life in Peterborough where she met a dashing Irishman named Harry Hamill. They married in August of 1957 and started their family of 3 in December 1958. In 1989 they settled on the east side on town on highway 7 where they opened The Green Door Antique’s shop. She spent her last working years as cashier and office manager for Rusland Auctions. This was her dream job as she was an avid collector, mainly of depression glass and Fiestaware. Pat showed kindness and compassion to all she met whether they were human or animal. A true lady by all accounts! She’s predeceased by her husband Harry in 2021. Leaving behind her children Colleen,David and Jamie along with their spouses Mark, Valerie and Louise. Grandchildren Heather, Aja, Kyle and Michelle. 11 Great grandchildren and 2 Great, great grandchildren. Sorely missed by her nephew Roger and wife Glady, her niece’s Carol,Heather,Mandy and Brenda. And many special friends including Bonnie, Jackie & Rob and Larry & Ruth. A celebration of the lives for both Pat and Harry will be held Friday July 5th at 2:30pm with reception to follow at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough. Gone from us that smiling face,
