Kennedy, Paul - peacefully passed away at the age of 80. A longtime resident of Cavan, Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Carolyn (née Beggs) and his brothers David and John. He leaves behind his loving children Brian (Lynne) and Susan and his cherished grandchildren Mira (Doug), Liam and Lucas.
Paul lived a life defined by service, curiosity and adventure. While tending his farm in Cavan with dedication, he maintained a career at General Electric. His adventurous spirit led him to travel, always returning home with stories to share and a deepened appreciation for life’s diverse experiences. His commitment to his community was exemplified through his active membership with the Lions Club, where his generous spirit and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Those who knew Paul will remember his inquisitive nature and genuine interest in the world around him. He had a gift for engaging others in meaningful conversations and could be found deep in discussion about everything from farming techniques to politics, or sharing tales from his travels. His questioning mind and eagerness to learn never dimmed with age, inspiring both family and friends to approach life with similar enthusiasm.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Paul Kennedy’s memorial service on Saturday January 25th at 11:00AM at the Lions Community Centre (920 Larmer Line (at C.R. #10) Millbrook Ontario)
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lions Club would be appreciated by the family.
