COOMBES; Robert John ~ Passed away peacefully, in his 71st year, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on May 4, 2017. Bob was the beloved husband of Norma Patricia (née Hynes) for 52 years. Loving father of Steve (Alyson Lockwood). Proud Grampa of Emily, Jacob and Kaleigh. Son of the late John & Hazel. Brother of Rose Anne (Fred), the late Jim (the late Pat), Joan, the late Wayne (the late Marie) and the late Kathy (survived by Eldred). Bob will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bob was a lover of the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting & fishing, many memories were made during these trips and he will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In Bob’s memory, a memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
