It is with deep sadness that the family of Robert Harry Reymes announces his passing on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 74.

Robert was the free spirited son of the late Jack Reymes and the late Beverly Barnes Reymes. He was a loving father to Jennifer Reymes (Richard Landry), and a proud grandfather to Ophelia Rose (Joseph Rose), Brynn Landry (Dwight Hoelke), and Liam Landry (Keeley McLoughlin-Landry). He also cherished his great-grandson, James Rose.

Robert was the brother of Jane Goody (the late Bob Goody) and John Reymes (Teresa), and was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Reymes.

As per Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. A Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 26th, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Common Room of St. Peter’s Court, 135 Chapel St., Cobourg.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Robert’s memory are invited to do so by cheque, made payable to Church of St. Peter, with St. Peter’s Court Apt. noted in the subject line.

Robert’s humour and stories of his travels will be remembered always by his family and all who knew him.
