In Loving Memory of Ron Marshall
July 17, 1956 – October 9, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ron Marshall, who departed this life on October 9, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 69 years old.
Ron faced his illness with remarkable strength, grace, and unwavering hope, never allowing it to define him. Through every challenge, he remained a source of kindness and comfort to those who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda (nee Norman); his loving children, Devon (Jesse) and Justin; his cherished grandchildren, Gracey, Ethan and Jaxon; his sister Sonja and his brother in law Randy (Tracy). He also leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and integrity that will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ron was known for his devotion to his family, his incredible work ethic, his sense of humour, building wonderful carpentry projects and over 40 illustrious years in railroading. Whether through quiet moments at home or the laughter shared during family gatherings, he built a life rooted in love and meaning.
A celebration of life to honour Ron will be held on Saturday November 1st, 2025 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, tribute at 1:00pm, at Baxter Creek Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Oncology Research Fund, Doctor Burkes at Mount Sinai Hospital; Toronto, Ontario.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.
