It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruth Isabelle Bonar (nee Dawson) announce her passing on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She enjoyed 43 years of marriage to her husband Alexander Bonar. Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Always selfless and caring for others, she felt a great contentment with extending her generosity to friends and strangers alike. Ruth was funny, stir the pot kind of lady, often playing jokes on others. She was fiercely independent, determined and compassionate. Though she experienced some of life’s difficult challenges, she courageously and lovingly embraced life passionately and to the fullest. Ruth is survived by Sisters Kay, Marg and Joyce. Predeceased by siblings Lorne, Jake and Arlene. Her five boys as she referred to them and their spouses shared a great love for her. Lyle Kenneth Bunn (deceased) & Darlene, Scott & Georgina Lawrence, James Estabrooks, Brian & Darlene Armstrong, Jeff & Theresa Sloos, Roger & Sharon Wyman, Valerie Robertson, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren mourn their loss.
