Valerie Vivian (Brown) Shutt

SHUTT, Valerie Vivian (nee Brown) passed away peacefully in her 90th year at Extendicare Cobourg on May 13th, 2025. Valerie was the beloved wife of Ronald Shutt. Loving mother of Kevin Shutt (Michele) & Darryn Shutt (Angela). Proud Grandmother of Sarah (Hessel), Nathan (Mary), Leevi, Simon & Lolah. Delighted Great Grandmother of Lucas, Isabelle & Jonathan. Predeceased by sister Carol Cyr (the Late Gilbert) and her parents, Harold and Pearl Brown.

The Shutt family would like to express their appreciation to the staff in Pine Unit, Extendicare Cobourg, for their unwavering support and care provided to Valerie throughout her stay.

In keeping with Valerie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 469 Elgin Street West, Cobourg  ON K9A 4X5 at 11:00am. Reception to follow. Live stream of the service is available with the link below:
