William John Stanfield

STANFIELD; William John ~ Passed away with family by his side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 76. John was the beloved husband and best friend of Margaret (née Williams) for 53 years. Loving and proud father of Kelly Precoor (Jeff) and Diana Precoor. Devoted Papa of Vanessa (Mason), Keegan, Kassidy, Kieran and Jacob. Great-papa of Natalie, Maverick, Callie and Cameron. Brother of Raymond (Ann) and the late James “Jim” (survived by Wendy). John will also be remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. John was a successful business man and a very active member of the Church. 

Service Information

Visitation will be held at St. George's Memorial Church, 39 Athol St. W., Oshawa on Saturday, November 10th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. In memory of John, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. George's Memorial Church would be appreciated by the family.
